Push Ads: Target and Source Campaigns
Zeropark now enables you to run Target and Source campaigns with Push traffic. Both of these campaign types are a great way to optimize your Push Ads via a whitelist.
Before we kick off this tutorial, first let’s make sure you have clarity when it comes to the terminology we use.
Target – a single website on which a recipient subscribed to push notifications.
Source – a single publisher who displays your ads.
This means that one source can consist of many targets, as publishers most often have multiple websites tied to their Zeropark accounts.
Now, let’s get right to the newly added functionality.
The usual approach for running Target or Source campaigns in Zeropark (yes, these campaign types are available for other ad formats too) is to first run a RON campaign to identify the best-converting sources and targets.
Once you’ve done that, these targets/sources can become a whitelist for your new campaign, that’s going to be fueled by proven, well-performing traffic that you’ve identified. Target/Source Campaigns in Zeropark let you upload this whitelist.
1) To start a Target/Source campaign for Push Ads, go to the New Campaign tab and select Push.

2) Now, depending on whether you want to run with a target or source whitelist, choose a Target or Source campaign.

3) If you ran Push Ads in Zeropark before, the next step should already be known to you. Set up your campaign as you like, create up to 10 variants of ads, enter your destination url and save your campaign. This process is the same for RON, Target and Source campaigns.
4) Once saved, you’ll see the summary of your setup.

If you’d like to change anything, hit the edit button. If you’d like to proceed to adding sources or targets (depending on the campaign type you chose), click on Go to details.
5) For a Source campaign, you can add sources by hitting the green Add custom sources button.

For a Target campaign, it’s the Add custom targets button.

Pressing the green button will result in a window popping up, in which you can insert the targets or sources (again, depending on the campaign type you chose) you have identified to be performing well.

6) Add the sources or targets separated by a comma, semicolon, enter or a whitespace.
When added successfully, they will appear on the list right away.

You can add new sources/targets at any time. See the below example of a target added while another one was already running for some time.

Running Target/Source campaigns with Push Ads in Zeropark is a tremendous step in the optimization process of push notification traffic once you tried an offer with a RON campaign.
Adding the targets or sources that have already proven their performance is a great way to increase the efficiency of your advertising ventures. Keep in mind that you can always add new and/or pause targets/sources, as well as set custom bids to further optimize your Target and Source campaigns.
